Aldi Review: Boulder Paper Towels and Panda Bathroom Tissue

This week's Special Buys at Aldi include the Boulder Ultra Giant Roll You Choose Paper Towels in the 6-roll package, and Panda Ultra Double Roll Bath Tissue in the 12-pack. Both of these are among my favorite products at Aldi, but they're only available in these packages as a Special Buy.

The Boulder Paper Towels are available all the time in a 2-pack, but they're the full-size sheets, not the smaller "choose the size you need"-type sheets that I prefer. If I'm remembering correctly, I've found the Panda Bathroom Tissue only in the 12-pack on a Special Buy.

The Boulder paper towels are every bit as strong and absorbent as the Brawny brand that I used to buy before I knew any better, and for my money I think the Panda tissue is on par with any of the premium-type brands I've EVER tried. It's strong and soft, without being too "cottony" - it doesn't fall apart on you. Let's just say it's comfortable and effective, and leave it at that...

I stock up on both of these every time they're offered. Since they're Special Buys, I'm never sure when they'll be offered again - but they eventually do come back around. They are priced a bit higher than the other paper products that Aldi stocks, but to me the difference in price is well worth it.

This is the good stuff - I think they're both GREAT values.
