Aldi Review: Choceur Milk Chocolate Bar ... and More!

First the "and more" part -

Hi, and welcome to all the new viewers - there's been quite a spike in traffic lately! I hope you find information you can use, and by all means, subscribe and leave a comment - let me know about your Aldi shopping experiences!

Okay, on to the review -

Choceur Milk Chocolate Bar

The Choceur Milk Chocolate Bar like the one pictured above is usually the very first item I put in my shopping cart on my trip to Aldi. I admit it - I'm an unrepentant chocoholic. I'm particularly fond of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, and this bar is an excellent example of that same chocolate-making style. It even says "British Recipe Chocolate" right there on the label.

The chocolate bar is actually made in Germany, and they've done a very good job - it has the same extra-creamy texture you'd find in a Dairy Milk bar. The chocolate flavor is rich and smooth. It's just what you want in chocolate of this type.

The bar weighs in at a hefty 7.05 ounces (200g) - and at a price of only $1.49 (as of 9/7/11), is a wonderful value! Choceur make several varieties, including a very nice dark chocolate - look for that one in the dark red package.

I don't think you're going to find a better chocolate for the price anywhere!
