Aldi Special Buys New Video!
Here's a quick, 30 second video that highlights just a few of the Special Buys this week at Aldi!
I have to say I agree with you on the meatballs. I buy the Italian and I have made homemade meatballs and mine were a bit boring. But I love the Aldi's meatballs. Have never tried the turkey variety, as I like the Italian variety so, but maybe I will soon.
Oh, and have you ever done a review, or tried the fresh salsa? At $1.99 for 16 oz., it is a good price, and my husband has tried the $3 varieties at the grocery store and prefers Aldi's brand. Try it if you haven't. I also like their hummus.
I get the fresh salsa all the time! I'm a big fan of the Jalapeno variety - the others are just a little too mild for my taste. I've got pictures, but haven't published a review yet - I'll put it on the to-do list!
We like the hummus too, but found the bagged pita chips to be mostly flavor-less.
The turkey meatballs have less seasoning then the Italian kind (as you might guess), and I'll often use them in brown gravy with mashed potatoes and call them "swedish" 8^)
