It seems like 2011 has
flown by - it's hard to believe that it's less than 2 weeks until Thanksgiving. I've put my Thanksgiving dinner menu together and started shopping for the big feast - I hope you have too!
I think I'll be able to get EVERYTHING I need for a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at Aldi - here's some of what we're having at our house this year:
Buttertball Turkey |
Chef's Cupboard Gourmet Stuffing |
Happy Harvest Sweet Potatoes |
Sweet Harvest Cranberry Sauce |
Chef's Cupboard French Fried Onions |
L'oven Fresh Pumpkin Pie |
Friendly Farms Whipped Topping |
L'oven Fresh Pecan Pie |
I'll round out the menu with green bean casserole, corn, and mashed potatoes, and I'll have a cheese ball and make some pig-in-a-blanket snacks to have during the football games.
What are you having at YOUR house for Thanksgiving this year? Are you able to find everything you need at Aldi?

I prefer the Aldi frozen turkey breast roasts -- so juicy and delicious and EASY! Thanks for this blog, and keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya, John. I prefer the white meat too - if it wasn't for the fact that the others in my family just have to have turkey legs, I'd be doing the turkey breast roast EVERY time!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you're finding info here you can use!
Not a Thanksgiving food, but Aldi's Millville Oatmeal is the best we've ever had!!! Darlene
ReplyDeleteI had the pumpkin and pecan pies this year. Some friends needed them to round out the Thanksgiving dinner. Can you believe it was only $2.99 for a whole pumpkin pie? The pecan pie was delicious, too! Such a great deal!
