I'm strollin' through my local Aldi today, minding my own business, just picking up a couple of things. Not the big weekly shopping, just some chips and salsa and a dozen eggs - when I look in the meat cooler...and just check out what I found...
Yep - those are $5 OFF stickers on the Roseland Pork Spare Ribs, which were already priced at a respectable $2.29 a pound. I picked out 2 packages which together weighed 12.59lbs.
At $2.29 a pound, I would have spent $28.83 - but with $10 off, I paid only $18.83, or about $1.50 a pound.
I don't think I have to tell you what I'm doing this weekend!

ReplyDeleteOh, and BTW, the ribs turned out GREAT! I did have to do some trimming, but that's okay - I just zip-locked the trimmings and threw them in the freezer to use in other recipes. I'll get a full review up this week!
